We also know that eating out, trying new places and exploring the town centre is a part of Lancaster student life, therefore, we’ve put together a list of the best places to eat in Lancaster on a student budget.
Go Burrito
As students living in Lancaster, if you’ve never heard of Go Burrito, you must have been living under a rock! Go Burrito is one of the more popular food spots in Lancaster, and the food there certainly does not disappoint. From a wide range of burrito fillings to loaded nachos and fries, there’s sure to be something everyone will enjoy. With indoor seating upstairs and reasonable prices, Go Burrito is a must-visit for all our Lancaster students. Also, it’s located on Church Street in the centre of Lancaster, so for all of you living in off-campus student accommodation, it’s only a short journey away! Keep your eyes peeled for many of the different offers and discounts they often run on their social media pages.
The Study Room
We are certain that most students who have been living in Lancaster for a while have heard of The Study Room. It’s one of the most popular spots in Lancaster for locals and students for a night out, but a lot of people tend to forget they serve food as well, and it’s pretty great! They offer hot dogs, burgers, tacos, quesadillas, and much more street food 7 days a week. They also offer all Lancaster students 10% off across the entire food menu on their famous Student Wednesdays and discounts on cocktails and drinks. If you can’t make it out on a Wednesday, they run a Taco Thursday, offering discounts on their popular tacos. Keep an eye on their social media pages for any last-minute discounts or lunchtime offers. This way, you can enjoy a delicious meal without worrying about breaking the bank.
Bella Italia
Bella Italia is one of the most well-known Italian chains up and down the UK, and luckily for all of our Lancaster students they offer a whopping 30% off when shown a valid student ID. This is one of the biggest discounts on a meal out students can get in Lancaster, and it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the mood for Italian food. Galico Lounge
The Galico Lounge is a relatively new restaurant in Lancaster, offering a wide range of different food options for a reasonable price. So, you’re sure to find something that tickles your taste buds! Now, whilst the Galico Lounge doesn’t actually offer student discounts, they do have ongoing weekly deals and offers that more than make up for the lack of student deals. They offer fantastic lunchtime deals where you can get soup and sandwich for just £6.25 Mon-Fri 12pm-5pm.
